The group account director is responsible for leading customer relationships and managing the overall support, maintenance (Retention), and growth (Expansion through up selling) of assigned accounts. GAD will motivate and guide a cross-functional team to deliver desired results while continually maintaining and fostering opportunities to grow the business. To do this, the GAD must understand multichannel marketing, integrating point-solutions to drive marketing performance and ROI. GADs must also be able to ensure that Insight is consistently delivered to clients to improve strategy development and decision-making. GADs do not need to be an expert in every aspect of marketing or in every of the company’s offerings; however, GADs are expected to be familiar with all company solutions and to routinely leverage internal experts to lead the client to become an Insight-driven, multi-channel account

Key Responsibilities:
• Retain and Grow assigned accounts
o Accountable to meet financial targets—both revenue and account profitability.
o Proactively designing solutions to support account Retention and Expansion through up selling and to grow the account through cross selling.
o Optimize performance and ROI for our customers through best practise and adding value to the design and execution process.
o Ability to lead strategic conversations with client and distil those into actionable solutions.
• Consistently delivering insight-driven recommendations based on a clear understanding of the client’s business, competitors, and industry.
• Lead, grow, and evolve the relationship with client teams—day-to-day and key senior sponsors.
• Ensure effective communication, internally and to the client, of solution and expectations for assigned deliverables.
• Work with account team to coordinate delivery of all client work across the company.
• Maintain an up-to-date account “plan”.
• Evaluating client satisfaction against agency delivery and lead a regular business review process with the customer.
• Running accounts and taking excellent business decisions consistently.
• Writing, preparing and presenting pitches, plans and campaigns.
• Managing the teams effectively to deliver the highest quality agency response and ongoing project management.
• Identify training requirements of the team and implement on the job learning.

Essential Skills:
• First class customer and project management skills to lead clients and teams engagement.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Broad and deep understanding of the full marketing mix and in particular the area of demand generation.

Essential Experience:
• Minimum three years in a senior role either in client services at an agency (senior Account Manager or above) or in marketing at a customer (Marketing Manager level).
• Experience of working in or for technology companies.
• Can demonstrate experience direct marketing
o Campaign design
o Campaign execution

Non Essential Experience but nice to have:
• CRM marketing with International clients.
• International drinks brand experience.
• Multilingual – French highly desirable
