Our client is a middle size company based in Belgium which is seeking a Senior Biostatistician (M/F) to join their dynamic team.
The company is very active in the development of innovative drug for the treatment of cancer, cardiovascular and ophthalmic disease. In addition, this company has also initiated partnership with top pharmaceutical companies in the development of specific drugs.
As senior biostatistician, you will be in charge of providing statistical expertise in collaboration with key projects members.
You will also be involved in the creation of statistical sections for protocols, the statistical analysis plan, the statistical analysis and SAS programming. You will also be responsible for the writing of the statistical reports.
In addition, you will be involved in submissions and will have interactions with the FDA or the European authorities.
In order to qualify for the above position, your background will include:
• MSc or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics or equivalent
• At least 5 years experience as a Biostatistician supporting pharmaceutical clinical trials and clinical development
• Demonstrated experience with submissions to FDA and/or European authorities
• Fluent in English, both in writing and speaking
• Strong experience with SAS programming required
• Knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines
• Comprehensive understanding of statistical issues in clinical trials
• Autonomy and ability to work with a team too
• Good analytical, communication and project management skills
