Company: Our client is one of the Fortune 500 companies and is leader offering solutions to the retail business. Founded more than 50 years ago, they have developed into a leading multinational with over 40000 employees worldwide and they are still growing. They are now hiring an area manager in their offices based in Brussels.

Role: As an area manager in training your mission will be the growth of sales and profit in your designed area. Reporting to the District Manager, this new position will involve the supervision of your team and its general performance; ensure that the business operations follow the company guidelines, contributing to the cost control and to the development and improvement of the operation.

Skills: The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience as an area manager or in a similar sales position. In addition you will have considerable knowledge of stocktaking and the German market, relationships with previous customers in this segment and an appreciation of the industry. You will have a business level of English and a second European language will be considered advantageous. Candidates that have managed sales teams in this sector are preferred as it is anticipated that this role will grow quickly!
