To be ultimately responsible for the Global profitability, growth and direction of one of the agencies flagship accounts.
As a senior member of the team, the GAD will have Global responsibility for identifying opportunity across regions and will take the lead in the overall strategic direction of the account. On a regional level, the GAD will be accountable for the effective deployment and management of their team resource and the appropriate utilisation of skills and expertise to consistently develop and implement campaigns to an exceptional level.
Key roles and responsibilities
• Overseeing the running of the Global account; working with the full team across business units
• Creating and maintaining excellent client relationships, within Global, Regional, and local teams. Maintaining a high level of visibility with Global contacts and in-country brand teams
• Gaining a comprehensive understanding of services offered through-out the business and maintaining contact with key individuals
• Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the clients' business, industry, and competitors, and actively applying this knowledge to clients business. Involving relevant teams across the business to ensure the right skills are deployed
• Writing, preparing and presenting any pitches, plans and campaigns required
• Managing the teams effectively to deliver the highest quality agency response and impressive ongoing project management
• Evaluating client satisfaction against agency delivery
• Monitoring profitability of the account and regularly reporting the status to the senior team
• Identify resource requirements to ensure a consistently high level of delivery
Essential Skills
• First class management skills, both clients and teams
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Advanced knowledge of client reporting systems
• Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
Essential Experience
CRM experience, in preferably within the drinks/FMCG industry
Knowledge of data lead marketing on multi-country campaigns
Experience of managing a client account across countries/regions
Minimum five years in a senior client services role.
Solid understanding of marketing services, gained in an agency environment.
Experience of working with creative and production teams in an agency.
