Your core remit will be working in a team for the development of Web applications, building on top of exiting web products using LAMP as the primary development platform. You will also be working on new web projects and ongoing maintenance of existing sites. All projects you are building will be varied and will include all types of database driven applications.
As well as Development, you will also share responsibility for administration of the servers. Therefore, a well-rounded experience with working in a Linux environment is a must.
Requirements:
• You must be an experienced Developer working with PHP and MySQL
• Experience with the Zend Framework is a requirement
• Proficiency in XHTML and JavaScript is also required
• Must have experience with Linux server configuration & maintenance, ie. Apache, MySQL, Shell scripting, Cron (familiarity with Debian will add weight to your application)
This is a great opportunity for a well motivated PHP Programmer to join a forwarding thinking, lively team to develop high quality web applications and to work on emerging technological solutions.
The salary for this position is up to £45K depending on experience with excellent long term prospects.
