The Medical Services Department is responsible for Allianz Worldwide Care&amp;rsquo;s Treatment Guarantee process, large medical case management and provider relationships. Key Responsibilities &lt;br /&gt;

    Provision of Treatment Guarantees to members in accordance with the identified procedural guidelines.Conduct medical reviews in relation to claims adjudication. &lt;br /&gt;
    Provide case management for complex and/or high cost cases. &lt;br /&gt;
    Support the department&amp;rsquo;s efforts to achieve cost containment and achievement of the targeted loss ratio. &lt;br /&gt;
    Assist with the maintenance and expansion of the panel of medical providers in certain regions. This includes the development of financially advantageous contractual relationships with these providers. The emphasis will be upon delivering competitive volume pricing, procedure pricing, package pricing, fixed discounts expressed as a percentage of the final bill etc. &lt;br /&gt;
    Develop and maintain pharmacy and drug access relationships where containment and/or client service advantages cost will result. &lt;br /&gt;
    Assist with the development of a panel of clinicians in locations justified by concentrations of AWC members. &lt;br /&gt;
    Provide appropriate training, documentation and support to panel members and medical staff within AWC. &lt;br /&gt;
    Ensure that all existing operating service standards are consistently met and devise strategies to improve these further. &lt;br /&gt;
    Develop and maintain good working relationships with all departments and support them according to their needs. &lt;br /&gt;
    The role will involve substantial collaboration with the following departments: Claims, Helpline and remote offices. &lt;br /&gt;
    Any other ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as and when required. &lt;br /&gt;

Experience Required &lt;br /&gt;

    Qualified Medical Doctor (2yrs exp) &lt;br /&gt;
    Fluency in English and a second European language would be advantageous &lt;br /&gt;

? Liaise with other departments, brokers, Relationship and Regional Sales Managers on a regular basis and provide underwriting support to all parties.&lt;br /&gt;

Expereince Required &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
    1 - 2 years experience in a customer focused environment, ideally in an administrative role. &lt;br /&gt;
    Knowledge &amp; experience of the Life, Accident &amp; Sickness Insurance an advantage. &lt;br /&gt;
    Medical Insurance Industry Knowledge an advantage &lt;br /&gt;
    Fluency in English with one or more of the following: French or Dutch or German &lt;br /&gt;
    Proficiency in MS Office &lt;br /&gt;
    Highly customer-focused individual with strong interpersonal and communicative skills &lt;br /&gt;

Key Responsibilities &lt;br /&gt;

    Use AWC&amp;rsquo;s client database, Gulliver, accurately and effectively to ensure reports generated give a true reflection of the department&amp;rsquo;s workload, which consequently facilitates effective target planning &lt;br /&gt;
    Operate within and meet the conditions of company service standards, clear to zero, to guarantee customer satisfaction and retention &lt;br /&gt;
    Contribute to the team and departmental productivity targets so that the agreed SLA is achieved and a high level of customer service is provided. &lt;br /&gt;
    In line with the company&amp;rsquo;s policy on cost containment identify duplicate payments, possible non-disclosure and fraudulent claims &lt;br /&gt;

    Implement company guidelines and methodologies to deliver renewal and new business quotations&lt;br /&gt;
    Work with sales managers and relationship managers to drive through required changes on specific accounts&lt;br /&gt;
    Provide analysis of specific accounts to support required changes both at renewal and during the contract period&lt;br /&gt;
    Deliver on requests received from the Sales Support function&lt;br /&gt;
    Deliver on ad hoc projects to internal and external stakeholders as required&lt;br /&gt;
    Analyse business performance by region, product type, benefit structure, etc and making pricing recommendations&lt;br /&gt;
